I am honored to share my Magnabilities experience during my Fast Start months.

Why did I join Magnabilities? I had been following Magnabilities for several months.  I found it to be unique jewelry that I’d never seen before. So after thinking it over, I decided for $50, why not try it out?  I wanted to do something I enjoyed, which is jewelry, and start a business I could build upon for my retirement years.

When I joined Magnabilities in January 2021, as soon as I got my kit, I knew this was for me. I love the fact that you can change the look of a piece by simply adding a different Insert, adding a Pendant or Charm. Then I ventured into the world of Custom Inserts – I was hooked! I’d never done any jewelry designing before and found that not only was it so easy to do. Everyone who I gifted Magnabilities to absolutely loved it! They had a unique piece that was designed for just them in mind.

When I start something that interests me, I go in headfirst. I am ALL IN! I wanted to build a team and share with them the excitement that I have with all the possibilities Magnabilities has to offer, whether it was to earn extra cash or just add to their own jewelry collection. Once I told my friends, co-workers and family about my new venture and showed them the Magnabilities jewelry, my customer base started to grow quickly. Everyone was excited that they could customize their jewelry to fit them, and at such an affordable price. Once they got their first pieces and saw the quality and how beautiful it was, they were sold!

As for the Party Incentive of winning $1,000 cash, it was all about proving to myself that I could do this!  I always try and push myself to go the extra mile. I am one of those people who always try to reach my goals. It’s that “Over Achiever” in me I guess! I love people and I love to talk…sometimes way too much! When I was a child, I had a nickname. Well, just suffice it to say it fit my never-ending chatter!! I was always talking; no one could ever get a word in.  So Windy was my nickname and y’all know it now! (Thank you to Linda Gutierrez for this new word for me.)  The party challenge was right up my alley. I love challenges. I challenge myself to be the best I can be every day.

How do I get customers to sign up a party? Well, I can be very persuasive at times. But really, when I show them what the jewelry is all about, and talk about the company, the founders and how they built this business, it’s pretty simple. The jewelry speaks for itself! Of course, the incentives are a big part of it as well! 😊

How did I get to be a Power Seller and Gold Consultant? Well, never did I ever think that was something that would happen in my Fast Start! I needed to build some inventory so people could see the jewelry and what it looked like first hand. Sometimes pictures just don’t do justice and I surely feel that’s the case with Magnabilities!

I learned quickly that some customers do not like ordering from a catalog – they like to see the actual item. And once they did, they started using my website to buy for themselves because they were comfortable with what they were buying. Some of my sales are from individuals who do not like to shop online for various reasons. Like my mother who, as part of the older generation, doesn’t like computers.  She is constantly calling my husband to say her computer doesn’t work correctly! Sometimes it’s just a problem between the monitor and the chair, but I love her anyway!!! Or maybe people who are leery of using their credit cards on line. I became their on-line personal shopper!

Since this pandemic, I think people just need to be around people again. But some who are reluctant to have home parties like the idea of having an online party, or joining a Facebook party. I try to make my Facebook lives different every week. I have a “guest star appearance” every week, which is usually my husband (my rock!) who either dresses up as someone famous or puts on his many outfits and tries to talk in different accents because he loves to act, and it works! My customers look forward every week to see whom they are going meet! We both have a crazy sense of humor, so it makes us laugh as well, which makes our lives fun! My husband is my biggest cheerleader and for that I am so very blessed.

My advice to others: Work hard, play hard, but most of all, do what you love. If you love what you do, it will show itself to others. And always talk up your business. I do this with complete strangers all the time! I somehow find a way to incorporate my jewelry business into most conversations. I drop my business cards everywhere, you never know who may need a Custom Insert! I love Magnabilities jewelry and I really believe this shows in my conversations. Just the excitement of what new Inserts are coming out, or what new challenges are coming is what drives me every day. It’s exciting. So embrace the Mission statement – it’s how I want to live my life by being positive, making an impact on others, and empowering others to be the best they can be. It’s so heartwarming to have Founders and Ambassadors and the corporate support of Erica who support and encourage their member’s everyday. And having a great Upline that is second to none made my journey to this point so easy, because I had all the help I needed to get me started on my journey to success.

Last but not least:  The sisterhood, oh the sisterhood… need I say more?!

Hello, my name is Jeannette Mattson. I live in Reed Point, Montana, the small town where I grew up and with the help of so many people raised an amazing daughter.

I recently married the love of my life in July of 2020, with the marriage I also got a bonus daughter! I worked hard and became the Manager of a large gas station. I developed health issues and they were getting worse due to the long hours and stress of the job. So, I had to quit my job. With my husband working full time, I got bored, so we adopted a puppy. That was fun but I was still bored. A friend of mine invited me to a party she was throwing on Facebook. Within minutes of joining the party I knew I wanted more of this beautiful jewelry. I mean the jewelry was so awesome, interchangeable, magnetic, and customizable?! I was looking for something to do with my spare time, could this be it? It looked like so much fun!! If I could not work with my friends and family, I could spend time with them online! I remember telling my husband, “if it doesn’t work, I will have a lot of pretty jewelry!”

I jumped in with both feet. I became an Independent Consultant with Magnabilities Jewelry. I already had so many ideas of what I was going to do but I did not know where to start. I joined a Live in the Fast Start Academy Facebook page. There I met Erica Bogdan. She told us all where to start. I put my picture on my website and I dug into the training. I started my Facebook Business page. I was amazed at the reaction of my family and friends. Everyone was interested. I did a few Facebook Parties but knew that was not going to be enough. So, I asked myself, why are my family and friends buying this jewelry from me? The answer was simple, because of ME. So, I took Erica’s advice and I stumbled through my first Facebook Live. I was nervous and scared. It was way outside my comfort zone, but I did it! 5 People showed up for that first live, but it ended up getting 561 views!!

Next I planned a weekly Saturday Night Live. Every Saturday I show everyone sets or I choose a category such as Inserts or Charms. Every product I show is available for anyone to purchase. People started buying from my lives! If I do not have enough in stock, I place an order.

I then decided I was having so much fun that I wanted to do something for my amazing customers that were buying from me weekly. I started a VIP Group for my customers. I offer sales and post at least 4 times a day to every group and my business page. I went live in my VIP Group offering product at discount price. It was such a success that I now go live every Wednesday in my VIP Group. The more training I watched the more ideas I got and put into effect.

I have also scheduled a couple events. I recently started a game night. Every Monday Night we play games on Facebook Live. I set weekly and monthly goals and work my best to hit them! I am selling jewelry, but I come with the package! I deliver no less then great service. I place orders, offer discounts and sales. I let the customers know when to expect their orders. It’s a lot of work and keeps me plenty busy but, it’s so much fun I hardly feel like I’m working most of the time!

 

 

Coming from a very dysfunctional family and into my adult life I have always had a hard life. I let life dictate my destiny. At twelve years old I was put on my own and I lived wherever I could. I worked and bought my own school supplies, clothes etc. By the time I was eighteen I had my first of four sons.  I became distant and withdrawn from everyone. My severe anxiety and depression and PTSD kicked into full gear. I gave up and let the disease win.

Six months ago I was watching a local jewelry company selling from home so I looked into it and saw that I could purchase a kit and make money from home. I posted on Facebook asking my friends if they would purchase from me and they all said “no” they already had someone they bought from. I saw these gorgeous purple pillowcases and purchased them, even though I had nothing they matched. I also purchased a steamer. With Covid, I thought it would help keep my house safe from viruses. Then I received a phone call telling me that as soon as the Governor opens our state back up from the pandemic I would lose my income, and my disability. My doctors and surgeons still will not clear me to go back to work. I was in panic mode, “what am I going to do?” I went to Google to research the jewelry company again and decided to try it anyways.

When I looked at the company again, I saw a beautiful purple “M”, which is my favorite color and my first initial. I had to check it out. I saw “Magnabilities” which I had never heard of before and dug in deep. I saw it stands on the beliefs of Spreading Positivity and Mpowering others. The Enrollment Kit was only $50 for $300 worth of product and jewelry. I was scared because I have never been a Consultant before. But I thought, “hey if you fail you aren’t losing, you still have all that product.” It was the best life changing decision I have ever made.

Those pillowcases, they are now cork-board and a memory board for one of my girls, and the steam cleaner can be used to clean jewelry displays. God knew what was in store for me, and those were not coincidences. This Company has not only made me self-sufficient but it has given me a large support system and family. The Maggie sisters are always there to support and encourage each other.

My family members that had written me off are all coming back around. I am able to get on a Facebook live in front of people! I have so many opportunities now. When I put in the effort, I always believe in putting in 100%. If you are going to do something, you give it every your everything. Your work is a reflection of you. I have always gone above and beyond to please people. I now can tell people No. I put my well being first. I make my own income, I earn jewelry and supplies and I have advanced to Gold Consultant in my Fast Start period, which I received a $200 bonus for. I believe you look at each goal and you figure a way to obtain it, then you don’t take a break you move right on to your next goal.

My goal is to add at least one new team member each month to hit ” Living the Mission” and build a powerhouse team. I feel if I can add a successful team member each month, meaning they are goal oriented and focused, that we can have a powerhouse team! I am looking to continue to rank advance and break records. Magnabilities isn’t about “out-doing” our fellow Consultants; it’s about helping each other become successful so we all win.

I have been blessed with a great sponsor in Peggy and several Maggie sisters, Krista being one that has taken me under her wings and both have taught me so much. I am in a program called “Going for Gold”, Sheri and the coaches have helped me tremendously. My plans are to focus and continue climbing until I can’t climb any further.

The jewelry is my passion, my customers are so supportive, and my Maggie family is an additional bonus. The friendships I have made through this venture are amazing. I even have an administrator for my business page, Nina who helps me with all my Facebook lives.

My advice to other Consultants is that when you want something, you need to make it a priority, and then do the research. Plan out your days (time-blocking) and stick to your schedule. Focus only on the positive and rid yourself of any negatives. Focus and know what you are reaching for. Set obtainable monthly and quarterly goals, so that you see what you are aiming for. Never give up. Failure isn’t bad unless you give up and quit trying. Use your failures to motivate you, grow from them and set new goals. Never stop working to be better and do better. Never let others dictate your future; you are in charge of your thoughts and your actions! No matter where you came from, you are in charge of where you are going! If you want a winning, thriving team, take charge and teach them to succeed, encourage them, push them, motivate them by leading by example. They are a reflection of you and you can’t get to the top without them.

I want to start off by telling you what I love about Magnabilities. First and foremost, I absolutely love all the Jewelry. I love the versatility, the beautiful designs and being able to personalize any piece. I look forward to our quarterly New Kickoff releases. I love to see what our very talented designer, Susan Fahsel, has put together. Secondly, I love our mission: Spread Positivity, Make an Impact, and Empower others!

I love helping others and watching how a simple smile can light up a room. Most importantly, I love to watch others succeed. This is my first time I have done direct sales and I have felt right at home since day one! This opportunity has been life changing and I can’t help but share the blessing.

I joined in December 2019; I had a successful launch party and I reached all 4 levels of the Fast Start program. During my 3rd month, I hit 2k Power Seller and I have been one ever since with the exception of July and August, where I hit 4k Power Seller those 2 months! I’m doing amazing with one oar, but in order to work smarter, I need to be rowing with 2 oars. I reached out to a fairly new program called, Going for Gold (G4G) to help me grow my dream team. I’m finishing up my 1st month and I’m already benefiting from all the training I have received!

This business venture is motivated as an escape from my health obstacles. Amen to the escape! I find myself excited, and looking forward every day to work my business. I’m all about personal growth and helping others. I really appreciate my Ambassador, Linda Gutierrez for all that she has poured into me. Since joining G4G, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Melodie Crane; a Gold Mentor and Sheri Tate; a Silver Mentor. I look forward to our weekly training and all the useful information each coach shares with me. I’m learning so much about myself, and growing in ways I never thought I could. Setting goals and achieving them made me want more, and walking outside my comfort zone by “going live” really lit my flame. I have bloomed in all areas of my life. God is good all the time! I want to grow my team, become a Gold Manager and Empower others.

If you’re stuck in your business right now and need motivation to get going again, start by setting small goals. Each time you reach a goal, reward yourself and then set a bigger goal. The feeling of achieving something, no matter how big it is will leave you wanting more.

Reach out to your upline, or your Ambassador and be open for any training opportunities. I highly recommend the G4G training. Go live and be yourself. We all have flaws and I feel that those flaws are the very reason somebody falls in love with us. The sooner you reach outside your comfort zone, the sooner you will see growth in your personal and professional life. Confidence is Empowering! I’ve held supervisor, manager and other leading roles for other businesses, but it wasn’t until I reached outside my comfort zone that I found the person I’ve always wanted to be. I am from Rocky Mount, VA and I have been a Magnabilities Consultant for 1 1/2 years now. I will start with my why: I was helping my best friend Regina Stanley during her journey with breast cancer and I realized how much I loved what I was doing so I joined her team.

I had a mindset to begin with to just sell and not worried about growing my team. I did well selling and playing games but decided I wanted more. I wanted others to have the opportunity that I did. My niece joined my team and she had a friend to join hers. Life got in the way and it did not work out for them for now but, I keep in touch with each of them to see if they are ready to jump right back in. I did talk to others by sharing the opportunity and just kept getting shut down. I got discouraged and spoke to Regina about it, and she encouraged me to keep digging in. I still shared the opportunity whenever I got the chance. Then in 2 months I got 3 new recruits and I was so excited! They are doing awesome and moving right along with their business. I continue to share every chance I get.

What I enjoy about this company is the sisterhood and the support from each Consultant. I have not ever seen any other direct sales company have the support system that Magnabilities has.

My first Convention was in 2019 Plano, TX.  What an awesome experience. There were wonderful Keynote Speakers that made you want to hit the ground running. Magnabilities is more than making money, now that is a plus, but they care about each one of us. They help when you ask and they are so giving of free products, trips and so much more.

I earned my first Incentive Trip last year for the year of 2020 to Clearwater, FL, which has been postponed until October 1st. I am so looking forward to this trip.

Now, what I enjoy most on my customer base side; when I hand my customers their products see their face and how excited they get, or how they send me a picture of their jewelry on and telling me how much they love it! It makes every sale worth while.

My advice to you:  don’t ever give up, don’t get discouraged, dig just a little deeper each time, be creative, don’t be pushy, stay positive, keep sharing the opportunity and be consistent.

Last Christmas, I took my Mother to the Christmas Parade in our town. Then, we went to a craft fair at the school. Christina Bates had a Magnabilities table set up there and I bought one of her prepackaged sets. I’d never heard of Magnabilities before that! When I got home, the necklace was a bit shorter than what I wanted, so after Christmas, I checked out Christina’s website and noticed there were “a lot” of items I really wanted! I also read all the “join” info, and decided it was something I wanted to do so I could get all the items I wanted at a reduced price and gifts for friends and family members.

I also make handcrafted, collectable Santa’s (WendeLouCreations.com), and have an open house in September each year and I thought Magnabilities would be great to display and sell then as well! Between Christina Bates and Brenda Durr walking me through getting signed up and “Fast Start” I was on my way!  My mother was my 1st Hostess, then my daughter – Ricquel Saylor who fell in love with Magnabilities too and joined a couple months after me.  Once I set up my Facebook VIP page, it kind of took off with friends, family and coworkers.  I’ve been making and giving free Custom Inserts to friends, family and coworkers for anniversaries, birthdays, etc, and once they see the items in person they’re hooked too, and I get “a lot” of reorders!!! I give away a free necklace set every couple weeks on my VIP page and with each order I give a surprise free Custom Insert.

My favorite things about Magnabilities are; All the support I get from my upline, all the complements I get when I’m wearing Magnabilities, and to see how genuinely happy people are when they receive their free surprise Custom Insert that I’ve created especially for them. (I pull a photo from their Facebook page of their wedding, children or pet)!!

 

 

 

Hello Maggie sisters and brothers!

How many of you are like me? I’m not great at goal setting. I don’t know if it is because my life is crazy and it’s hard to find time to meet the goals I set, or maybe I’m afraid of failing, or it could be because I like the surprise of hitting a goal and not knowing it!

Well, SURPRISE! I hit Gold Consultant in May!

I do know it came from hard work, asking my friends to share my Lives with their friends, participating in a group FB vendor event, and training my teammates to the best of my ability to be successful!

As we have heard, it takes both oars; Sales and Team members. In a canoe if you use only one oar, you will go around in circles. Do you feel like you are doing that in your business? If you are, maybe you need to add team members.

I admit, I’m not the best at telling people all the reasons why they should join my team, but I have prayed for the right team members to be drawn to me and they have been! I do share on my lives about the opportunity and my last recruit reached out to me during a FB vendor event and immediately said she wanted to join! We had never met and since I work from home, I don’t meet many people, but I do share the opportunity in my FB parties and on my page. My team member before her came to me through a FB party that a friend had to help me out. (I thought I was helping her get free jewelry and she was trying to help me get new customers.) I live in Missouri and this team member lives in Florida! That’s the great thing about social media and FB parties. Your customers and team members can come to you through FB parties and FB vendor events from all over the country! (Yes, that is my main flavor. Can you tell?)

People can tell when you are excited about your business and when you share how fun it is and how successful they can be, it is a win-win! What is there to lose? Like I have told my team members, the success may not come immediately, but if people see you enjoying it and acting like you are the most successful Consultant on the planet, it will attract them to Magnabilities and then you WILL be successful!

Success is kind of like beauty. It is in the eyes of the beholder, so what does success look like for you? If you work full-time, you might be thrilled to have a qualifying hostess party. Maybe you are shooting for the stars and are adding team members like crazy and selling Magnabilities all over the country.

Several years ago, I was a jewelry artist while I worked full-time. It was like having 2 full-time jobs and became overwhelming, so I stopped making the jewelry since it was more of a hobby for me. I never intended to sell jewelry again but when Miss Angie Crocker heard that my company had to downsize and eliminate my position since it was overhead, she reached out to me. I started slowly because I thought I would just get the discount for a while and help her out, but it ended up helping me out. Through a series of events, my jobs were ok but not what I was looking for. My husband and I decided that the good Lord was trying to tell me that I needed to work my Maggie biz full-time! That was a little scary to say the least because I have always had steady jobs.

Going full-time with my biz has allowed me to take time off for my husband’s knee replacement, which took place this month. I wish it hadn’t been during a double points month and the kick-off towards earning our Incentive Trip next year, but we can’t control life! At least I’m not getting in trouble for taking so much time off to take care of him.

So, that is my WHY. I enjoy it. It gives me flexibility. Oh, and did I mention that ladies have told me that my Lives and the jewelry has ministered to them? That was a happy accident! I want ladies to see how beautiful they are in God’s eyes and the jewelry gives me a way to enter their lives and it makes them feel pretty to wear it. Even their husbands have commented on the change in their attitudes toward themselves. Sometimes my husband has to remind me that my self-talk is not positive and then I remind my ladies to make their self-talk positive!

Where are you in your Maggie journey? What is your why and what are your goals? Whatever they are, go for it! The sky is the limit and even if you shoot for the moon and you miss, you might just hit a star!
